Campus 21
Regenerating West Kent College for the 21st Century
There are exciting new developments at West Kent College as the multi million pound re-development continues. One of the largest projects of its kind in the further education sector, the completed campus will provide 21st century education and training facilities for learners throughout the locality.
The brief
Work is well underway in preparation for state-of-the-art facilities which will result in a superb educational environment. The new buildings will be linked by an impressive atrium forming a 10 metre slope from back to front, allowing three 'learning steps' which will provide centres for different activities. The building works are on schedule and students and staff will move into the first completed phase Spring 2010. The premises, due to be completed late summer 2011 with the final demolition and external works extending into the autumn, will give 23,000 square metres of space, similar to the current campus size.

Have your say
It's business as usual for the College with delivery of high quality programmes to our students as our priority. During the lifetime of the project any disruption will be kept to an absolute minimum.
