BTEC National Diploma Travel and Tourism
in my words...
Why did you choose West Kent College?
It was a cost effective way to carry on with my studies.
What course did you choose?
BTEC National Diploma Travel & Tourism
Why?
The service industry really appeals to me and I would love to work abroad.
What aspect of the course have you particularly enjoyed?
The assignment to find out exactly how The London Dungeons and The Tower of London market themselves and attract visitors.
How will your studies help you fulfil your career ambition?
I’d like to be a holiday representative in a Spanish speaking country – perhaps even South America – I have learnt the language and it would be good to use it as part of my job.
What do you do when you are not studying?
I love to watch the live bands organised by the music students. I also have a part-time job as a waitress, which helps me develop my customer service skills.
